EQUIPPING NATIVE INDIAN MISSIONARIES
REACHING INDIA'S UNREACHED PEOPLES
Indian missionaries being commissioned to take the gospel to the unreached people of India!
One Voice Mission Partners (OVMP) was launched in 2016 as the missions arm of One Voice Mission. OVMP is equipping native Indian missionaries in northern India who are committed to raising up worshipers of Jesus Christ among India's unreached peoples.
PIERCING THE DARKNESS
WHY INDIA? India is the most unreached nation with the gospel on earth. Of her 1.3 billion people, over 1 billion Indians are Hindu and less than 30 million are Christian. With its 33 million gods, Hinduism is the most idolatrous religion in the world. In the midst of this darkness, there is a courageous group of people, transformed by the gospel, who are committed to carrying the message of Jesus to the masses of northern India.
It is a common sense decision for OVMP to support native Indian missionaries. Unlike westerners, these men and women do not need language and culture training. They can be efffective with the gospel now. They can also be suppported for less than 5% of the annual cost of a western missionary. And they are some of the most courageous people for the gospel in the world.
It is an honor to stand shoulder to shoulder with heroes of the faith like Bansipal (photo above right). Here is a servant of Jesus who has been jailed and beaten many times for the gospel's sake. Bansipal has permanent hearing loss from numerous beatings to the head, but he is undeterred. He cheerfully continues to win souls, plant churches and disciple others!
OUR GOAL: SUPPORT MORE NATIVE MISSIONARIES
On average, a native Indian missionary will plant four churches a year, with 25-30 people per church. That's 100 new Christ followers per year, per missionary. OVMP's goal is to support 200 native Indian missionaries in northern India by 2025 and reach 100,000 Indians for Christ by 2025.

Our prayer and desire is to see our investment in native Indian missionaries yield 100,000 new believers in central and northern India by 2025.

OVM sponsors the One Voice Concert Series…featuring artists such as comedian Ken Davis, Keith and Kristyn Getty, Mark Lowry and Cana's Voice, Steve Green, the Annie Moses Band, Signature Sound, the Collingsworth Family, Veritas and many others .
Additionally, OVM sponsors the annual Ladies Day of Renewal in Colorado Springs and the nationally acclaimed One Voice Hymn Sings featuring the new One Voice Hymnal, a curated treasure of the most loved hymns and gospel songs of yesterday and today. STORE
One Voice Mission events also serve as a platform for inviting people to join our One Voice Mission Partners (OVMP) initiative to support native missionaries in India.
In in 2019 OVMP supported native Indian missionary MK Bharti and his brother, Manoj. They have shared the Gospel with thousands of unreached people, many of whom now work as indigenous missionaries under the leadership of MK and Manoj as they follow God’s will for their ministry.
a. During their Global Outreach Week, in 470 locations, over 14,124 people were trained to share the Gospel
b. Their outreach touched over 2 million unreached people and more than 5,000 people took water baptism during the week.
c. These men are true heroes of the faith, going out every day to witness Jesus to staunch Hindus. They are trusting in God to keep them safe and to bless their work
Who leads One Voice Mission?
One Voice Mission is led by a Board of Directors and by Executive Director Johnny Hall. Johnny has had an extensive career in gospel music. He has served as a ministry leader, Bible teacher, and global mission spokesperson. Upon the passing of its founder in 2010, OVM’s board appointed Johnny to lead the ministry. Johnny and his wife, Teri, have three sons and live in Lake George CO.
What is the relationship between OVM and One Voice Mission Partner (OVMP)?
One Voice Mission Partners, launched in early 2016, is a donor/prayer support arm of OVM, the goal of which is to engage U.S. partners with OVM’s outreach, both internationally and in the U.S. OVMP’s first focus is supporting native missionaries across central and northern India.
Why does OVMP work with native missionaries rather than sending U.S. missionaries?
OVMP is supportive of sending U.S. missionaries but recognizes that the most effective missionary is the one who is the closest related to the people needing to be reached. The native missionary needs no language or cultural training and can go immediately to places inaccessible to foreign missionaries. They are also the most cost-effective workers.
Does One Voice Mission work in other places?
Yes, in addition to our church-planting work in India, One Voice Mission is involved with native missions in Africa, Egypt, and the Middle East. In 2015 OVM funded the translation of audio recordings of the four gospels into the language of the unengaged Nubian people of Upper Egypt.
In northern Iraq, OVM partnered with native missionaries working among Syrian and Iraqi refugees to build Praise Chapel in the city of Duhok. Praise Chapel is the first church facility to be wholly owned by an evangelical congregation in the heart of this predominantly Muslim region.
Why is OVMP focusing on India?
India is home to over 2000 of the world’s unreached people groups and over 400 million people who have never heard the name of Jesus. This makes India the most unreached nation on earth.
Can I sponsor a specific indigenous missionary?
At this time OVMP does not have the infrastructure in place for our partners to support specific church planters. All Gifts are used to support and equip OVM’s mission here at home and in India.
Can I travel to India and see this ministry firsthand?
Yes, we travel to India once a year but because of our desire to leave a small western footprint we have limited our travel to small teams. If you are interested, please email us at info@onevoicemission.org.
What does my monthly $35 investment accomplish?
Your investment helps to cover the living expenses, travel, and ministry resources of native missionaries in India. In addition, a portion of your giving helps to underwrite One Voice Mission’s outreach in the United States.
Are my gifts tax-deductible?
Yes, One Voice Mission is registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
One Voice Mission Partners’ are equipping native Indian missionaries who are going into India’s remote villages in northern India to share the love of Jesus. The impact of a native missionary's ministry is far reaching and long lasting. Whole families and communities are being set free through the truth of the gospel!
Prayer is the first and most critical step in reaching people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
There is a strong connection between the victory of God and our prayers. Our battle is against the principalities of darkness who come against our brothers and sisters in northern India continuously. These battles are won through the prayers of God’s people. Please join us in praying for the men and women One Voice Mission Partners are supporting in northern India.
Here are Key Prayer Needs.
1. Pray for Leaders in India
Since May 2014, India has been governed by a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As a result, radical Hinduism, which was already present under the previous government, has increased steadily. While intolerance has risen, and minorities are constantly attacked, the central government has refused to speak out against the atrocities—thus further encouraging the radical Hindus to step up their actions. Attacks on Christians in India were reported on an almost daily basis in 2015, according to a Christian advocacy group. History reveals that the church has always had its most significant growth during times of persecution.
2. Pray for One Voice Mission Partners’ native missionaries
3. Pray for their families
4. Pray for their marriages
5. Pray for open hearts and minds as they minister
6. Pray they will be godly, effective leaders
7. Pray that God will keep them single-minded and focused
8. Pray that God would pierce the darkness of idolatry in India
9. Pray that God would raise up more givers and prayer warriors
